Ordinary Time is a group of three friends who met in seminary and discovered a shared love for hymnody. They have recorded several albums' worth of folksy hymns, sacred texts set to original music, and completely original songs.
I have found their music to be radically refreshing. Their harmonies are tight, the breadth of instruments used is impressive but not overwhelming, and they seem to be able to capture the spirit of a tune with authenticity.
The band's resource page for musicians and worship leaders is easy to navigate and very useful, especially if you fall in love with their work (as I have).
